6 Spring Cleaning Tips
Well, it’s that time again. It’s Spring. With Spring comes Spring Cleaning. It can be quite the chore, but not to worry, we have you covered. Here are a few tips to make Spring Cleaning easier.
You are very likely on some sort of schedule for sweeping and mopping now. But THIS. IS. SPRING CLEANING! 300 reference, anyone? No? Ok, moving on. It’s time to bring the shine of those floors back out. Add a half cup of vinegar to warm water and mop the floor with it. Then dry with a towel. The floors will have that shine you know and love again.
As time goes on, we tend to leave things wherever we want at the time. Rooms get cluttered, we don’t throw anything out and it gets a bit hairy. Well, it’s time. Before you can really clean a room, you will have to get rid of that clutter. We suggest taking all of that stuff and putting in a box until the cleaning is done. Then, you can go through the box and decide what to do with each item.
Yeah, you gotta clean those too. Don’t worry, it’s not that hard! Put your ladder away. Get a long handled sponge mop and use an all purpose cleaner on those walls. They’ll be spotless in no time.
This one isn’t all that breathtaking but you very simply vacuum your mattress. No elaborate cleaners necessary. Then just spray a little Febreze on it and you’re all set.
Time for a defrost. Wait until your food is running low, like the day before grocery shopping. Throw out anything that has expired. After the defrosting is done, pull all of the shelves and drawers out and thoroughly clean them before returning everything to its place.
You’re gonna like this one. Just take your curtains down and put them in the dryer with a wet towel for 15 or so minutes. The towel will remove the dust from your curtains.
