How Yoda Cleans His Kitchen

Well, today I have a real treat for you. Last week on my personal blog, I shared what Darth Vader has taught me about social media. Well, over the weekend I got a phone call from a familiar voice. “Interview Yoda for your next blog, you should.” Who can resist that? I told him that my next blog would be here and he agreed to let me interview him about how he cleans his kitchen. So, here is my interview with Yoda. Enjoy!

Tom: First of all, Yoda, thank you so much for your time and for wanting to teach us a bit about cleaning today!

Yoda: Ready are you? For 800 years have I cleaned my kitchen. Much to teach you, I have.

Tom: Well that is very exciting! Yoda, tell me, where do you begin when you’re going to clean your kitchen?

Yoda: A plan, you must have. Reckless, you cannot be. At one corner of the kitchen I start and work from top to bottom until the whole kitchen is clean I do.

Tom: Well that is a great method but why–

Yoda: No, no! There is no “why”.

Tom: I apologize! Let’s move on. How often would you say a kitchen should be cleaned?

Yoda: Every time you cook, clean up as you go, you should. Once a week, a thorough cleaning should you do. Once every month to 6 months, deeply you should clean; behind your appliances and inside your cabinets you should clean. How often you do this, you choose.

Tom: Are there any tricky parts of the kitchen that tend to get missed?

Yoda: Mmmm, forget the inside of the microwave, does Yoda from time to time. Be careful of the edges and corners, you must. Never forget the toaster’s crumb tray. Fire, that could cause.

Tom: True, that is a great tip! Yoda, what is the kitchen cleaning task you least enjoy?

Yoda: Emptying out my fridge, I do not like. Disgust Yoda, does old food. Still, it must be done weekly.

Tom: Well, Yoda, I can not thank you enough for this interview. I know how busy you are and I greatly appreciate your time. Any parting words for our readers?

Yoda: Nothing more will I teach you today. Clear your mind of questions.
